The Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Premier is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at while visiting Japan over the years due its rooms, facilities, staff, and location.

Room – My room was one of the nicer rooms I have had in Japan. It was a queen size bed, had a walk-in shower, and plenty of room to spread out and relax. I have stayed in some small, uncomfortable rooms, so having this palace was amazing. I had the 16th floor and never heard another person in the hallways. It was a clean, modern room that was a comfortable oasis after long days of traveling around Tokyo.
Facilities – The hotel has some great facilities on site. The front desk has a concierge that can help you book reservations as needed. There are two restaurants on site as well, serving meals throughout the deal and a bar that provides a good drink in the evening (be aware that is does allow smoking so keep that in mind). I loved the breakfast buffet that cost about $17 USD per person, which was worth it due to the full spread of both Japanese and Western foods (and it opened at 6 in the morning!).
Staff – The staff were top notch. Check-in was a breeze, the front desk staff were very kind and helpful. The restaurant workers were also just as kind and courteous despite the early mornings I would come down for breakfast. The service was great and can’t say enough about how kind they were.
Location – The hotel is located with a 10-minute walk to Higashi-Ginza and Shimbashi Station stations, making it easy to get around the city. It sits right next to Tsukiji Market, so finding early morning meals and the best seafood are within walking distance. And of course is the shopping, and not just the high-end stores that Ginza is known for. The hotel is right next to tons of restaurants and quick stops like Family Mart, Lawson and even a Don Quijote store across the street.

Overall, the hotel is one of the better ones I have stayed in during my several trips in Japan (and has high ratings with other travelers). It’s located in a great spot, has tons of food and shopping options and has some of the nicest facilities you will find for a decently priced hotel in Ginza.
