Time to focus on writing

Writing is content and content is everything for a blog. This has been something I have foolishly overlooked over the past year during my struggles to find a way to make a blog that I actually like to write on.

I have spent endless hours wondering what I need to do to make the blog more searchable, thinking there is some kind of magical button or plugin that will instantly boost the viewership of the blog. However, that has all been for nothing. There is no magic button, no easy fix, nothing like it.

Sure, there are little things one can do to make a blog more readable and searchable, but at the end of the day it comes down to content and getting content out there on a consistent basis.

Content is what makes a blog and I have just been looking everywhere else, seeming to avoid the reality. Blogs take their own work. SEO, relevant topics, etc. are all important but again, content is king and I have been so slacking.

I’m going to work as hard as I can (life, work, and finding that balance between it all, just like you all do) to get more content both written and published. Setting a schedule is not something I can do yet, but just getting a blog published is an accomplishment for me.
