Hotel Review: Comfort Inn

Comfort Inn is a 3-star hotel in the heart of Roppongi and located right on Roppongi Dori (formerly known as The B Roppongi).

I have stayed in this hotel before, back when it was called The B Roppongi and had good memories of the hotel. The hotel doesn’t have a lot of thrills to it, instead it is just a clean, standard Japanese hotel located near the Oedo and Hibiya subways lines and on Roppongi Dori, putting in the middle of a busy spot with restaurants and stores everywhere.

My room itself was two twin beds, was non-smoking, and is one of their more standard rooms in the hotel.

In the past, the room was very clean and suitable for what I needed, but this time around was a little different. The room was clean, however it had a strange smell to it. The bathroom had a musty smell to it and was always a little warm. The walls in the room also had a few stains, as if the room needed a massive update.

The lobby was clean and the staff were very kind and helpful when ever I need anything. I couldn’t complain about anything regarding them or most of the hotel, it was just a dated room with an old, musty smell that made it not the best visit this time around.

The hotel has good reviews and I can’t disagree, I just wish the room was a little more updated and the smell wasn’t so musty throughout the room (and the bathroom). Overall, it was a good hotel to return to begin the trip, but not for a long stay.
